Latest thinking on the origin of the Grand Canyon

In this video and the related article, we are introduced to the idea that there is more than one possible scenario for the creation of the Grand Canyon during/after the Flood. These are still being researched and discussed, but the fact remains that what we see now cannot be reasonably explained in terms of a long earth history.
