Ice Cores

Ice Cores – the value of a detailed response

In this video, Richard introduces a series of articles about the ice cores which are to be found in Greenland and Antarctica. Secular scientists have often used these as evidence against a young earth and worldwide flood. Detailed research has however been carried out in this area, and has demonstrated that whilst our knowledge is still far from complete, observations are nevertheless fully compatible with the model of a young earth and worldwide flood. Richard once again reminds us that the latter actually offers a much better explanation of the idea of a past ice age.

How did Jesus handle miracles?

How did Jesus handle miracles?

In this video, Richard introduces an article that lists various miracles of Jesus and various references that He made to miracles in the Gospels. It is pointed out that Jesus’s miracles are broadly divided into two categories – (1) to show compassion, and (2) as a visible demonstration of the revelation of God.

Directional Mutations

Directional mutations

In this video and article, we are introduced to the concept of directional mutations. According to evolutionary thinking, mutations are random, with favourable ones being chosen by a process of natural selection. There is however increasing evidence that mutations are not all random, and that the cell in all its complexity is programmed to be able to generate non-random (i.e. directional) mututions in order to adapt to environmental demands. This is much more in line with the idea of intelligent design.

The Academic Response to Creation Science

[Posted on: 09 November 2024 by Richard Worsley]

The academic response to Creation Science

In order to critique something, particularly in academic circles, it is absolutely essential that the material under scrutiny is thoroughly read and researched. In this video and article, Richard raises concern about that way in which academic research by opponents of creationist thinking sadly fails in many cases to engage properly with the works of creation science.

Flood Geology in the 1830s

Flood geology in the 1830s – George Fairholme

In this video, Richard introduces the work of George Fairholme, who published geological evidence for Noah’s Flood as long ago as the 1830s. Sadly, his thinking was not taken on board by the Church, and we see at least 120 years of history in which the Bible was not properly defended, enabling the advancement of atheistic thinking to abound.

Non-random mutations

In this video, Richard introduces an article promoting the idea that the ability to produce variation to enable adaptation to the environment, is already built into the complexity of DNA design.

The Green Sahara

[Posted on: 30 October 2024 by Richard Worsley]

The green Sahara?

It is generally accepted that geological evidence shows how present day desert regions of the world were once well watered. In this video, Richard introduces an article which shows how this observation is best explained in the light of a recent worldwide flood as documented in the Biblical record.
