The rapidity of decay that can be observed in the strength of the magnetic field only reasonably allows for the earth to be up to 10,000 years old. Whilst evolutionists have proposed theories to account for a long earth history, the idea of a young earth and a worldwide flood still provides the most sound explanation of what we see.
