Persuasion
Persuasion is something that we encounter a lot in life, namely where one person attempts to bring another round to his/her own way of thinking. In this video and article, Richard looks at the philosphical aspect of this, particularly in relation to evangelism. Two important points that come out are:
- In order to try and persuade someone, we need to be totally sure that what we believe is right and will stand up to scrutiny.
- It is important that we present all the facts so that people have the necessary information to come to their own conclusion.
