This is the first in Richard's series of short videos, in which he looks at some of the implications of the rise in persecution against Christians in today's world. There is no related article, but the video very much speaks for itself.

Before I go on to the main point of this article, I would like to take a small deviation and explain something of my own interest and involvement here. Many of you may not realise this, that although I have spent my whole working life in computer technology, my academic background is actually in pure science. As such, I have always had a keen interest in creation vs evolution, and very much share the concern that the message of creation goes out into the world around us.
Richard has just launched a new venture, in that he is presenting a series of short YouTube videos, roughly aiming to publish one per day. Each of these videos refers to a particular article listed on his website. I will be helping in this venture, inasmuch as I will be releasing a blog post for each item, with a link to the video and another link to the associated article. These will be appearing on the Longcroft website blog and also on my own blog site, which can be found at https://www.creation1to11.com. (Just as an aside, the latter contains some material of my own, although this project is still very much in its infancy.) I will also be looking to push links to the material out on social media.
I will start to release the blog articles very shortly, though I will be running a few days behind Richard himself all along the way. For those of you who are subscribed to blog notification emails (probably most of the church), you will receive a weekly summary rather than daily notifications, so that you are not swamped with too many messages.
