Origin of the Universe, the Earth & Life
In this video, Richard introduces a brief article which addresses and summarises some of the main ways in which we can argue in favour of a biblical explanation for the origin of the universe, the earth and life. Points covered include:
- The origin of the universe itself is beyond scientific reasoning, as we just don’t have the necessry knowledge.
- There is clear evidence that the earth is young, particularly when we look at the matter of soft tissue in fossils.
- Life is extremely complex and as such has to be the work of intelligent design.
- In the natural world, things tend to decay over time, which goes completely against the idea of long age evolution.
- Modern miracles provide powerful evidence that the Bible is a true revelation of God.
