Confirmation of the 6 Mega Sequences on every continent

In this video, Richard comments on work carried out by the creation societies with regard to 'mega sequences' (sedimentary rock layers). The order of the layers shows a consistency across the various continents of the world, and along with the fact that there is no sign of erosion between the layers, provides some of the best evidence so far in favour of a global year-long flood.

Although this book defends the old earth position, Richard nevertheless commends the authors for their willingness to engage with the thinking of young earth creationists, something which is sadly lacking in today's academic circles. Ice Cores - the value of a detailed response

In this video, Richard introduces a series of articles about the ice cores which are to be found in Greenland and Antarctica. Secular scientists have often used these as evidence against a young earth and worldwide flood. Detailed research has however been carried out in this area, and has demonstrated that whilst our knowledge is still far from complete, observations are nevertheless fully compatible with the model of a young earth and worldwide flood. Richard once again reminds us that the latter actually offers a much better explanation of the idea of a past ice age.

In the past, evolutionists had an argument for saying that mudstone needed calm water to form, and was therefore incompatible with the idea of a worldwide flood. Richard reveals how more recent research has demonstrated that mudstone and many other rocks are in fact able to be formed rapidly, making them compatible with the model of the Flood.

These are still being researched and discussed, but the fact remains that what we see now cannot be reasonably explained in terms of a long earth history.
