Clues from Creation Week

[Posted on: 19 December 2024 by Richard Worsley]

Clues from Creation Week

In this video, Richard introduces an article by Dr Andrew Snelling, which discusses the existence of distinct layers of rock on the earth. It is possible to define four main layers, namely (1) from the original creation week, (2) post-creation but pre-flood, (3) from the Flood and (4) post-flood. The flood layer is distinctly different from the others, particularly with respect to the presence of fossils. Whilst there is still much to be learnt in this area, we can nevertheless see this as yet more evidence in favour of a worldwide global flood.

Confirmation of Mega Sequences

Confirmation of the 6 Mega Sequences on every continent

In this video, Richard comments on work carried out by the creation societies with regard to ‘mega sequences’ (sedimentary rock layers). The order of the layers shows a consistency across the various continents of the world, and along with the fact that there is no sign of erosion between the layers, provides some of the best evidence so far in favour of a global year-long flood.

The Best Arguments Against a Young Earth

[Posted on: 05 December 2024 by Richard Worsley]

The best arguments against a young earth

In this video, Richard introduces an article in which he makes a response to the book ‘The Grand Canyon – Monument to an Ancient Earth’. Although this book defends the old earth position, Richard nevertheless commends the authors for their willingness to engage with the thinking of young earth creationists, something which is sadly lacking in today’s academic circles. The associated article lists a number of questions raised by the book along with references to various creationist responses that have been made.

Ice Cores

Ice Cores – the value of a detailed response

In this video, Richard introduces a series of articles about the ice cores which are to be found in Greenland and Antarctica. Secular scientists have often used these as evidence against a young earth and worldwide flood. Detailed research has however been carried out in this area, and has demonstrated that whilst our knowledge is still far from complete, observations are nevertheless fully compatible with the model of a young earth and worldwide flood. Richard once again reminds us that the latter actually offers a much better explanation of the idea of a past ice age.

Flood Geology in the 1830s

Flood geology in the 1830s – George Fairholme

In this video, Richard introduces the work of George Fairholme, who published geological evidence for Noah’s Flood as long ago as the 1830s. Sadly, his thinking was not taken on board by the Church, and we see at least 120 years of history in which the Bible was not properly defended, enabling the advancement of atheistic thinking to abound.

The Green Sahara

[Posted on: 30 October 2024 by Richard Worsley]

The green Sahara?

It is generally accepted that geological evidence shows how present day desert regions of the world were once well watered. In this video, Richard introduces an article which shows how this observation is best explained in the light of a recent worldwide flood as documented in the Biblical record.

The Great Unconformity

The Great Unconformity

In this video, Richard introduces the subject of the Great Unconformity, a description given to the geological phenomenon, which draws a distinction between rocks with fossils and rocks without fossils. Like many geological features, this is best explained in terms of a recent global worldwide flood.

Mudstone Formations

[Posted on: 22 October 2024 by Richard Worsley]

Mudstone formations can be formed rapidly

In the past, evolutionists had an argument for saying that mudstone needed calm water to form, and was therefore incompatible with the idea of a worldwide flood. Richard reveals how more recent research has demonstrated that mudstone and many other rocks are in fact able to be formed rapidly, making them compatible with the model of the Flood.

Ice Sheets in Greenland & Antarctica

Ice sheets in Greenland and Antarctica

In this video, Richard introduces evidence from ice formations in Greenland and Antarctica, and how yet they provide yet more evidence for an ice age following a recent worldwide flood.

Soft Tissue in an Ichthyosaur

Soft tissue in a ‘Jurassic’ ichthyosaur

In this video, Richard introduces an article about the way that traces of soft tissue have been found in the fossil of an ichthyosaur. The presence of soft tissue in fossils provides compelling evidence for an age of only thousands of years, rather than the normally accepted millions of years.
