Irreducible Complexity!

This video and article refer to the matter of the design and complexity bacterial flagella, a subject that was specifically covered when Michael Behe published his book Darwin's Black Box back in the 1990s. The bacterial flagellum is an excellent example of irreducible complexity, a term that can be applied to a piece of machinery, in which every part is totally dependent upon all the others, and cannot function without them. This is totally incompatible with the ideas of Darwinian evolution, in which everything gradually developed via a large number of small changes. The incredible complexity of biological machinery can only be reasonably attributed to intelligent design.
